Yoga Nidra is a form of guided meditation also known as “yogic sleep.” This practice is done lying down in savasana or in a supine restorative posture. It provides a deep journey of relaxation, where one lingers in the space between wakefulness and sleep. This practice can result in feelings of calm, surrender, harmony, physical release, and transcendence, perfect for the introspective and soft winter season
Yoga Nidra is a wonderful practice to support intention setting as we transition into the new year and beyond. This practice is suitable for practitioners for beginners and advanced practitioners. We will spend some time centering and setting our intentions before moving into the practice of Yoga Nidra.
